Polly has a great team on the yard to support her and the horses. Meike Weber is now her fulltime
partner in producing Polly's own horses, both for Polly to take up to the higher levels of competition
and also to develop horses for sale to other aspiring riders.
Our experienced groom Toni has now been working with Polly for more than two years, and Fran supplements the team from time to time. We also welcome work experience students from the local area and from abroad. Anna joined us from Austria in October 2007, and will we with us until August 2008.
In addition to this full time squad, Polly gets great support from sister Ami and friend Nic (referred to as 'Gladders') alongside her regular team of parents, Paul and Jane, and friends Jon and Jane.
Polly has a great set of owners who all play a full part in supporting at events, making them
very social and enjoyable occasions.
The yard has 15 stables, with the addition in 2006 of three new boxes from Scotts of Thrapston who have also joined our roster of great sponsors.
Polly also benefitted from the building of an extended outdoor school and a new barn over the past twelve months.
The large `L` shape rubber surface can accommodate a 20x60m dressage arena as well as a full practice
set of show-jumps (kindly supplied by Classic Showjumps) allowing Polly and her team the opportunity
to train a number of horses at the same time.
We have a few virtual tours of the yard and stables. Click the button below to take a wander around the place to see where we work and play!
Toni Chambers moved to us from a local racing yard, where she had been for 2.5 years during which
she completed her NVQ2. Toni has lived in Nottingham all her life and has her own horse which
she competes at local show-jumping and Eventing competitions when Polly
allows the time off!

Ami Jackson (otherwise known as 'Little Sis'), has grown up Eventing horses and
has competed to Intermediate and CCI * level before she chose to go to Bristol
University and then pursue a career in Television.
She has worked for two years as researcher on "What not to Wear", and then was poached by an independent
production company. Although she lives in London, Ami still manages to get home as often as possible to
help her sister and compete at Novice level on the young horses.
Gladders (Nicola Gladstone) grew up with Polly in the village, attending
the local Primary School together. After graduating in Equine Science at Bristol
University, she chose to spend a gap year helping Polly establish her event yard
until her parents told her to find a "proper job" that would pay a wage, much to
Polly's disgust! Gladders has a successful career at NFU Mutual but still spends
most of her spare time as an extra groom for Polly's team.
As with most event riders, Polly would have had no chance to get where she has
without the tremendous support (stress!) of her parents, Jane and Paul. Jane has
ridden throughout her life and it was her passion that transferred to her daughters.
Paul started riding later in life but they are both now passionate riders and
full-time support to Polly in her ambitions.
Paul's mum and Jane's dad feature as dedicated supporters of Polly's career. At 85 and 91
(it was a great party!) years young, they still really enjoy the excitement, and get to
as many events as they can. Grandpa even follows his grandaughter online!

Jon and Jane Gladstone live in Kinoulton and got into Eventing with Polly through her best friend,
"Gladders" - their daughter Nicola. Jon deals with most of the business aspects of Jackson Equestrian,
and is chief photographer at home and events. Jane also attends most events and as well as Chief
Catering Officer, deals with illness and injuries to Polly and her team. The trade-off for all
the hard-work is some great weekends away at events, with Paul and Jane and the rest of the gang.
Jon, Jane and Nicola are also joint owners with Paul and his mum of Megastar
Nicknames: Tarzan and Jane
Polly is very lucky to have a great team of owners who are a vital part of any professional event rider's team.
Paul and Christine Kilmister (Bournston Equestrian Ltd)
were introduced to Polly by Julie Thorne and through the association with South Notts Pony Club.
They are enthusiastic supporters of Eventing as their two sons both compete, Tom at pre-novice and
Henry at Pony Club level and are always at events to support Polly as she rides their horses, Bournston
Two for Joy and Bournston Highland Charm.
Ann Walker, owner of Time for T, gave the ride to Polly at the end of 2004.
She is a great supporter for Polly and Eventing generally. Her son Robin also events.
Peter Urquhart, Acheron's owner rang Polly out of the blue in 2005 to offer her a ride. Acheron is Polly's second horse with Peter and was a new partnership in 2006.
