Hi everybody.
Had a very enjoyable and successful day at Burnham Market, with Megastar (Dick) finishing 8th in the Advanced, and Henry (Bournston Highland Charm) and Rudi (Rudy's Pride) both having good early runs.
Dick was awesome, 3rd after Dressage and having had the first showjump pole down jumped brilliantly round a big SJ track. He was foot perfect across country on a tricky course that caught a lot of riders out.
I was pleased with Henry's Dressage test despite a couple of errors - one his, one mine - he jumped a beautiful clear SJ round, but then glanced off a "skinny" XC, which again was more my fault than his!
Rudi also gave me a great ride. An improving dressage, followed by one pole down and then a good run cross country with an unfortunate run out.
Looking forward to a good three days at Belton!
