Results of our Winter Show Jumping League January 2012

We held our Winter Show Jumping league competition here at Monart Equestrian Centre, The Still, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford for four weeks every Sunday for the month of January 2012. Even with the rain on the day of our league final, Sunday the 29th of January, we had such a large turnout of competitors. Well done to everyone who participated over the course of the league, we hope it has enhanced your experience and enabled you to gain confidence in preparing you for upcoming events while having a lot of fun!!!

The results are as follow:

70cm and under Class
1st Mary Conroy on Sky
2nd James Alywood on Beauty

80cm Class
1st Fidelma Clare riding Mister
2nd Fidelma Clare riding Summer

90cm Class
1st Aishling Quinn on Try Time Diva
2nd Wayne Shiggins on Funky Monkey
3rd 90cm Jane Hogg on Reo

1 meter and above Class
1st Christine Kavanagh on Princess
2nd Ger Kelly on Copper
These two had to decide with a jump off, with Ger jumping first, she had a fantastic round with a time of 36 seconds but unfortunately knocked the first pole. Christine had a clear round with a time of 56 seconds.

Most improved horse and rider combination over the past four weeks went to Rachel Fenton riding Lady.
She won a rug to the value of 100 euro

Great prizes were giving to the winners,
1st won 80 euro worth of a Monart Bomber jacket
2nd won 50 euro Monart jumper
3rd won 35 euro Monart top
