Hi, it's me! This section of the website is for my own personal commentary on the Eventing season.
Feel free to read my ramblings below to gain an insight on what it's like to ride professionally.
Browse my diary below or use the menu on the right. You can even post comments, so let's hear what you have to say!
I ran four horses at Sapey and came away with a second for Mystique Royale in the Novice, giving her an NRF qualification, and a fourth place in the Pre-Novice for Acheron - just a rolled pole away from his first win. not bad for his first run of the season. Abcoeur Bay was disturbed by a helicopter during her test and then gave me a beautiful double clear. It was the first run for my New Zealand prospect, Foretune Cookie. Very pleasing again, a "getting-to-know-one-another" schooling event, which I believe is so important for the future.Caunton Promise cut herself and picked up a local infection overnight, so unfortunately her first run is a week delayed. We were all saddened by the death of Jo-Anne Williams and it again brought home to me the unforgiving and extreme nature of our sport. Our sympathy goes out to her family and all who knew her.
