My Diary

Polly Jackson Hi, it's me! This section of the website is for my own personal commentary on the Eventing season. Feel free to read my ramblings below to gain an insight on what it's like to ride professionally.

May 22nd. A frustrating May!

May 22nd. A frustrating May!

Most of you will know that my planned trip to Badminton with Syd and Percy was wrecked by the virus affecting most of the horses on the yard. My Chatsworth ambitions went the same way! The only solution was to effectively shut down the yard for two weeks and turn all the horses away to try and clear the virus.

My grooms are now not only a great equestrian team, but also expert cleaners and decorators. I definitely have the smartest yard on the circuit! The good news is that the horses all came in last week and seem fine.

I have entered a number for Draycott and Great Tew, and I am really looking forward to competing again!

Photo Caption - As she began to get high on creosote, Fran knew that joining Polly's team would mean using a brush, but this wasn't what she had in mind.

Well done, good luck from now on
