Hi, it's me! This section of the website is for my own personal commentary on the Eventing season.

A weekend of competition at last! I took six horses to Great Tew - with Joey a late substitution for QT who pulled a shoe - and despite an extremely hot two days, all the horses did well and stayed sound. The event was in it's second year, and every effort had been made to make the going as good as possible. Ash, Missy and Joey ran on Saturday and Ally, Mickey (in the picture) and Alida on Sunday.I was pleased with all their performances, given that they had all been away from competition for so long. All six horses behaved well in the dressage ring - it has been a long time since I have been able to compete dressed like this - and in five rounds of showjumping we had just two poles down. The three horses that went cross-country all went clear, and I was delighted with an 8th, 10th and 13th on this outing.
