At last! A whole weekend Eventing on good ground! Thanks to superb work by Stuart Buntine and his team, Shelford Manor was a great two day outing, with five horses completing, and a haul of 2 wins (Percy ON, Alida N), a 5th, 2 6th places and a notional 4th (Missy HC in a PN).
I was pleased with all the horses, as they all performed well, considering how little competition any of them had done lately. These were my first (very welcome) wins of the season, and Alida won her first Novice.

Congratulations for a great weekend at Shelford Manor, you really deserved some good results after such a frustating start to the season. We popped over on the Sunday. It was a great way to spend a sunny sunday.

it is lovely to see percy doing so well as i used to groom for him when he was a livery at farndish in northants. he was always a very cheeky chap but a very special little horse with big talent
