I took a lorry load to Catton Park on Saturday, but the glorious weather meant it was pretty firm underfoot. I had walked the warm-ups, arenas and track on Friday and it was all well spiked and I was hopeful that I would get some much-needed runs.
Mickey and Joey both did pleasing tests, but Mickey really felt the solid ground warming up showjumping and when she had an uncharacteristic stop, I decided to call it a day.I am hoping for some real rain before Milton Keynes this weekend!
