It was a very quick turnaround after Martinvast, with Mickey and me heading up to Blair Castle CCI* early on the following Tuesday morning.
It was nice to be back at Blair after a three year absence, and Mickey did me proud, with a top twenty finish, despite a glance off an arrowhead and 20 penalties on the cross country.
She produced the best dressage test of her (short) career so far to be in third place, and then on the Sunday, put in a foot perfect show jumping round to move 10 places up the leader board, finishing in 16th overall.
