Hi, it's me! This section of the website is for my own personal commentary on the Eventing season.
Feel free to read my ramblings below to gain an insight on what it's like to ride professionally.

Our biggest competition of the year so far, I set off on Tuesday with Time for T (Trevor) and Megastar (Dick). They were both fit and raring to go, and I was delighted with both of their Dressage tests ? a 52.7 and a 55.2, leaving them both well placed going into Saturday?s Cross Country. Sue Benson had built a great course, with plenty to think about, and the ground preparation was excellent (for all parts of the competition). Trevor, in his first CCI***, was second horse to go in the senior?s section and he set off really strongly. Unfortunately we had a glance off at the second of the corners which put him out of the reckoning, but we went on to complete his round. His showjumping round on Sunday was really nice, with just one pole rolled and a couple of time penalties. Dick was getting ready to head off for Cross Country when he banged himself and I decided not to risk running him. I had forgotten how good the Bramham event could be, and it is certainly back on my favourites list for the future!
