Aldon two-day Novice with Ash

The last event was a great success and sends me smiling into the Winter, already looking forward to next season!

A good, fun event started with a good Dressage and then a fabulous, clear Showjumping round putting him in seventh place overnight.

It was a bit of a ?blast from the past? doing Roads and Tracks and Steeplechase but the training and fitness work really paid off as Acheron was magic Cross Country, finishing well within the time, and fit enough to do it all again! Both Anna (our new Austrian groom) and me bear the bruises of how excited he was, and we had to take him well away from the action to have any chance of washing him down!

The end result was a second place, and in superb shape for the season ahead, hopefully without any Winter mishaps, as he is definitely the most accident prone horse on the yard!
